New Media by Darrin Martin

Lesson Stalls: Learning Net, a net art project by Darrin Martin & Torsten Zenas Burns, 2003
An exploratory version of Burns and Martins' speculative education universe, Learning Net activates workshop examples of psi-surgeries and levitation work outs and introduces viewers to an array of astral professors. Commissioned and hosted by Electronic Arts Intermix, the site can be found here.

Real Time Shifts, an interactive CD-ROM collaboration between Darrin Martin & three other artists, Joseph Scheer, Peer Bode, & Jessie Shefrin, 2001
An extension of an exhibition and book of the same name authored and created by the latter three artists and produced by the Institute for Electronic Arts, the CD-ROM engages the process of creatively repositioning print, sound and video works into a new experiential composition accessed through rhythmic motion and hidden links.

The Aviation Projects, an old-school net art project that also contains documentation of related art installations, 1997/1998
Aviation becomes both interface and metaphor for family crises and a struggle for control. Invisible links and pages set on timers move the participant through a fragmented narrative destined to crash. Installations took place at the Kitchen in New York and WRO Media Arts Biennale in Wroclaw, Poland. A version of the site can be found here.
